Story Behind The Song

Its a song about the "Woodstock Generation" (my generation)that started with great promise and somehow let it pass threw our fingers and became the thing we use to be against. Many of us still live back in that era and never could leave. They just became old hippies,or sold out or are jaded to world. However I think this song could apply to any generation. We are remember what we could have been some how settle for less.
