Story Behind The Song
Just wanted to write a general feel good song about something simple like playing music. Liked the idea of all major chords. Came up with the verse chord sequence and then the opening two lines. Then came the chorus chord sequence and the rest of the words.

Lyrics
Made my way to the city, made my way to the sea
Took my music all over the country
Played out west and I played out east
I played to all the crowd I played to please
Oh oh and I like it
Oh oh it's true
Oh oh I'm excited
To give my cliche to you
Went to many cities went to many towns
Played to many people poets and clowns
Lifted up the spirits of everyone I could
Tried to be a shining light just like I thought I should
Oh oh and I like it
Oh oh it's true
Oh oh I'm excited
To give my cliche to you
Ba baaa ................. x 2
Met some friendly people they said hey you're lookin' fine
I said thank you for the compliment now please hear my rhyme
Someone stood and looked at me and said how you doin' today?
I said fine thank you very much sir now please hear my cliche
Oh oh and I like it
Oh oh it's true
Oh oh I'm excited
To give my cliche to you
Ba baaa ................. x 4
