Lyrics
Walking up our hill holding on tight to mopther's hand
Then we got to the top, took a left and the descent began down Stedman St, picking up friends we knew not well. Passing by Clarina, on our own, approached the street of Dell
Up Jordan avenue, we were on our way. Do you remember how big we felt that day? Up ahead of us, like the courtyard's rock our whole lives stood. We knew no one on the top but it was clear that we quickly would because Bobby was king. So cool Craig played the Knight. Then for some comic relief, Mike held Shane's hat so tight. Dave had his warrior arms and there were two Meridiths, suzannes, and three Jens. Content skating round and round, from moving on I could not defend.
And if you'd ask me if I'd turn back time if I could, I surely would.
And Meri was queen despite the strong Christine. I was just happy to be a member of that winning team in the caves of George's Island where we were breaking all the rules, convinced that we were adults, we were just some young kissing fools. Then the weather grew warm and the change came like a storm. As I look back on it I believe my feelings were torn on the coming to the end of the days when we were royal. I'm sure there were bad times too but not enough to break or spoil the days at Doyle. I want to get them; I want to see them again. And as strange as it seems to you I still believe that if I could go back in time I would do them again. I won't look so foolish to you if you remember the things I do, the way I do at that school.
