Story Behind The Song
I wrote and produced this song on day # 23 - of my '30 Songs in 30 Days writing marathon in January of '09. During that month I decided I wanted to simply write songs to give away to people rather than to get something and this is one of them that came out.
Song Description
Posing questions about existence and purpose, this song is not meant to answer any specifics, rather to lift the listener up to an increased awareness of their own inner beauty.

Lyrics
Do you ever wonder
Were the sky above us ends
Or if you'll leave the body
That your beating heart defends
Or why a salmon struggles
To the waters of its birth
There's got to be a reason
We're here on this earth
And you can call it heaven
Or an old guitar
Or dreaming dreams
Or sewing seams
Or driving in your car
And it's outside your window
So just roll it down
And feel the wind come through your door
Because it always blows your way
What you're searching for
Six is for your senses
Seven's for your seas
Eight is for the wonders
Your eyes will never see
But counting on the future
Or summing up the past
Divides only the present
It's all that will last
And it can take a lifetime
It can take an hour
But you'll be fine
'Cause in your time
You will find the power
So you just keep on climbing
'Till you reach the top
That is when you'll climb again
And it will never stop
Because your destination
Where you want to be
Is day to day
It's in the way
You give your love to me
Because it's right inside you
If you call upon that star
It isn't very far
And it is here to guide you
No matter who you are
You're that star
And in the mirror you will see
What you're searching for
