Story Behind The Song
I got my hands on a 1963 Silvertone Danelectro 1448 electric 6-string guitar, and I was playing slide guitar with a new open tuning I made up. And the guitar sang this song to me. It helped me see the cause of my depression and to get outside my head.
Song Description
Most of our troubles are of our own making. If we only think of ourselves we will be miserable. If we think of others, we'll be happy.

Lyrics
KEEP ON WALKIN' (2009 Joe Chaplain, Eutona Music/BMI)
Angels flying underground
Whole world crying upside down
I keep on walkin'
'Til I find my way
When I stop talkin'
Then I begin to pray
I saw horses eatin' hay
And a million flowers looked away
I kept on walkin'
Then I finds my way
When I stop talkin'
Then I begin to pray
Yellow mustard field of green
Redwing blackbird so serene
He keep on flyin'
'Til he finds his way
I hear him cyin'
and I begin to pray
I pray for mother father sister brother red white black yellow and brown
I pray for alcoholic son and daughter living on the edge of town
Big old lion
Tooth and claw
River Niger ancient law
He keep on walkin'
Until he find his way
When he lie down with the lamb
Then he begin to pray
Two wild turkeys two young deer
Big car honkin' have no fear
Just keep on walkin'
'Til you find your way
When you stop talkin'
Then you begin to pray...
I pray for mother father sister brother red white black yellow and brown
I pray for alcoholic son and daughter living at the edge of town
Angels cryin' underground
Whole world flyin' upside down
I keep on walkin'
'Til I find my way
When I stop talkin'
Then I begin to pray
Keep on walkin'
Keep on walkin'
Keep on walkin'
Keep on walkin'
