Lyrics
October Gray
Joanne T. and Paul WIlson (C) 9/07
Verse-1
October first and my world is gray.
Its gonna be a long, long missin' you day
My world aint' spinnin' its stuck in place.
Can't get past the memories of our yesterdays
CHORUS:
Guess I should try and get out bed
No matter how I twist the pillow it just won't fit my head
Ain't got the strength to face the day
Everything seems strange since you went away
Verse-2
November first and the rains comin' down.
My tears hit the pillow like the rain hits the ground
My mind is racing ain't got no place to run.
Can't seem to understand you're really gone
CHORUS
Bridge:
Don't know what I'll find face out there,
or if have the strength to fight the fears in my head
I'll learn to care one day at a time and leave my heart ache behind.
Verse-3
December first, cold wind surrounds,
It freezes my senses,
No emotions can by found.
My hearts still beatin', beatin' in my chest
I gotta stand up and face what life I have left
Final chorus:
Guess its time I got out of bed.
To hell with that damned old pillow.
It never did fit my head.
I'll find the strength to face the day, and know I'm not alone along the way.
