1)
I'm just a little girl tryin' to find my way
The world seems so big, sometimes I'm afraid
Other kids can so be mean. I don't understand
I hide my fear and do the best I can
Chorus)
It doesn't matter what you say
It matters what you do
What counts is how you play
I want to be friends with you
Do you want to be my friend too-oo-oo??2)
Doesn't matter if you cry or if you're feeling blue
I will always hold your hand and try to see you through
We can dance and learn this pretty song
with magic words that you can sing along
CHORUS
Bridge:
Everybody does somethin' good
Anyone can be misunderstood
Only cowards pick on others
and forget we're sisters and brothers
3)
Then we can meet after school and on rainy days
If you give me half a chance I'll never be far away
Lets kick up our heels and forget our fears
And hold our secrets dear
It doesn't matter as long as you are here
CHORUS
Tag: It doesn't matter what you say,... it matters what you do.
