Story Behind The Song
As an educator of 20 years I've had contact with enough hurting youth to recognize a "front"- a defensive devise to hide the hurt. Often the devise has a negative effect on others. I used this sound, style and lyrics to go past the defense and address the hurt.
Song Description
The song is R&B / Hip Hop. I'm able to present strong male singing vocals (chorus), confrontative relevant Hip Hop lyrics (verse), and calming background harmonies.

Lyrics
CHORUS
You'll never win in life if all you play is stupid games.
I see you laughing, joking, trying to hide all your pain.
I hope that deep inside you really want to make a change.
You need to rearrange your life.
VERSE
You can never win in life playing stupid games. You bring darkness in your like playing stupid games. You can be hard but it won't take away the pain. but if you ask me I tell you about a greater name.
So, let me tell you how I'm winning, how I play the game-One wife, two kids, same address, same last name.
You can be hard. Won't nothing change. But if you let me I can show you about a better game.
CHORUS
BRIDGE
