Story Behind The Song
After I started recording this CD, I realized I didn't have a song to end with, so I wrote this one to tie it up. I also didn't have a waltz or anything that stayed in minor, so I used both. The mandolin melody before each verse is part of a traditional tune from the Seychelle Islands.

Lyrics
The clock on the wall says it's time to go, The bartenders tired of this useless show, He says last call, and though I should be done, I tell him, yeah, I'll have one.
That girl down the bar looks pretty cute, I smile at her, but it does not compute, Now she's out the door, much to my dismay, I should go home anyway.
(chorus) I feel a change comin on, I'm startin to feel like I finally hit the wall, This time tomorrow I'll be gone, This is the last time I'll be hearing last call
(verses) I've been so lucky, lucky in love, I must have had guidance, help from above, But all those good women just couldn't stay, While I sat in some cabaret.
If I had the money I spent on this stool, I'd quit this life, maybe go back to school, I've always worked but there's nothin in the bank, And I've got this barstool to thank.
(repeat chorus)
