Story Behind The Song
This song started as a self-imposed writing experiment to try to figure out how to get that happy retro sound of the old TV commercials of the 50s and 60s. I used orchestral sounds to create the soundscape with pizzicato strings, cellos, harp, oboe and flutes.
Song Description
With this piece I was trying to capture the sound of the music heard in the TV ads of the 50s and 60s such as car commercials or fashion products where the ad music was bubbly and extremely light and happy sounding. This kind of music always made me laugh with it's over-the-top happy sound.
