Story Behind The Song
"Hope" is actually the first song that Skydro and David Rosen recorded together when starting the sessions for Skydro's "Success Stories" album. Rosen wasn't sure if he wanted to commit to a full length album yet, but when he heard "Hope" he was immediately convinced that the album would be special.
Skydro hoped to touch people with this song and from the first time he performed it live, he knew he had done what he set out to achieve. Now he just wants to spread the song to more people.
Song Description
"Hope" is a song about having faith in God and believing in yourself and finding a way to get through and past addiction.
As Skydro says in the song, "Hope is doper than dope."
