Story Behind The Song
The ideas of self-acceptance have always intrigued me from a young age, as I spent most of my life blaming myself and others for my problems. It was my desire to create a song where I could apologize to my heart for all the years of abuse. At the same time I always wanted to use "mune" in a fast-paced song, and before I knew it, it became the title of the song I was creating.
Song Description
"Mune" is japanese for "heart" or "spirit." The song describes that although the speaker feels he and society make choices that are damaging, he is ready to forgive his heart for the choices it makes in an attempt for self-acceptance and self-love.

Lyrics
We all act like demons in our own space.
Fighting the truth when it reveals itself
Dressing up in costumes in bad taste
The freaks among us are the ones who don?t have it wrong.
And I?m yearning to show the depths of my inner self
And you?re really lovely, and that?s why my jealousy keeps you locked up inside
But Mune, I?m not ashamed of you, yakusoku deshou
And Mune, I realize my mistakes, so let?s learn to love
We all take our leads from the outer space
The space that seems to follow us
Everywhere I hate these masks I see,
But they?re the only dreams that others want to be
Failure has always been your greatest gift
And that now I finally see
Your wisdom is the only love, the only love I ever really need
And I?m yearning to show the depths of my inner self
And you?re really lovely, and that?s why my jealousy keeps you locked up inside
But Mune, I?m not ashamed of you, yakusoku deshou
And Mune, I realize my mistakes, so let?s learn to love, isshouni
And I?m yearning to show the depths of my inner self, yes, I want to
And you?re really lovely, and that?s why my jealousy keeps you locked up inside
But Mune, I?m not ashamed of you, no I swear I?m not
And Mune, I realize my mistakes, so let?s learn to love, let?s learn to love. . .
