									? ONE TOO MANY ?
Written By : Ron Stevens / Jerry Blackburn / David Moore
I stopped at a bar off I-35, somewhere outside of Austin
I told the barkeep don?t matter what brand just so it?s a cold one
a man can sure miss his woman up there on eighteen wheels
a young pretty thing sit beside me, I guess she had some time to kill?
( She said ) it?s about closing time
why don?t we grab some wine
I know a place we can go
Yeah I see your wedding band, yes I do understand
But nobody has to know
I tried to find a reason I shouldn?t
But I couldn?t think of any, then I thought again
and I would know and that?d be one too many?
She got up crossed the floor headed for the jukebox
Cranked up a tune then danced back to me, swear I?ve never seen someone so hot
I turned up another to cool myself down, I was one smile away from exploding
I could not get her words out of my head, they just kept uploading?
( She said ) it?s about closing time
why don?t we grab some wine
I know a place we can go
Yeah I see your wedding band, yes I do understand
But nobody has to know
I tried to find a reason I shouldn?t
But I couldn?t think of any, then I thought again
and I would know and that?d be one too many?
The devil was working overtime, pushing me toward that line
I barely made it back to my truck, her words were still on my mind?
( She said ) it?s about closing time
why don?t we grab some wine
I know a place we can go
Yeah I see your wedding band, yes I do understand
But nobody has to know
I tried to find a reason I shouldn?t
But I couldn?t find any then I thought again
and I would know and that?d be one too many?
I often ride down I-35 and I?ve seen Austin plenty
If I stop at that bar one more time that might be just one too many?
