Story Behind The Song
This song I wrote about my now wife who was a childhood friend at summer camp and we reconnected over music while she was in Nashville and I lived in Charlotte. We made constant phone calls, many of them lasting into the 4am territory even when we both had things we had to do in the morning. These conversations were a fond memory to me years later and I was tempted to ask her if she remembered those phone calls as well as I did and then I realized we're still falling in love in different ways now.
Song Description
Nervous, excited song about lying in bed having all night conversations with a long distance lover. Some extended instrumental sections. Strong pop melody and chorus.

Lyrics
You can talk me to sleep
For two or three hours endlessly
Scattered blankets have frozen my feet
But I can't feel past your whispering
You make me feel nervous
Like I don't deserve it
Talking on the phone I hear you say
That you love me more today than you did the day before
Thinking of the time we fell in love
I say you remember when but then I realize I'm still falling
Crawling out of your skin
You've never felt this crazy before
Voices breaking up when
My heart beats fast which leads to more
Talking on the phone I hear you say
That you love me more today than you did the day before
Thinking of the time we fell in love
I say you remember when but then I realize I'm still falling
You make me feel nervous
You make me feel nervous
Talking on the phone I hear you say
That you love me more today than you did the day before
Thinking of the time we fell in love
I say you remember when but then I realize I'm still falling
