Story Behind The Song

I wanted to write this song to not only inspire others to realize their own worth but also to amp myself up in times where I'm not feeling myself. This is an anthem that people including myself can listen to when a confidence boost is very much needed. Most of my other songs currently have been on the more serious side so I wanted to take a different approach to my songwriting and tune into a more fun side of myself. It's a song that makes you feel good and makes you want to dance! I was yearning to write a catchy song like this and finally - it's out. It's so different than the rest of my music but in the best way.

Song Description

"Cool Bitch" is full of bad ass energy meant to amp you up! It aims to get yourself out of that dark spiral and into the light where you see your worth and beauty. I produced this Lizzo inspired song to be more upbeat, less serious, and more electronic-led. It promotes self-love and confidence through my story while also being very fun to listen to. It finishes with a more raw ballad finale during which I express a more vulnerable side to my "cool bitch" vibes. "Sometimes I look in the mirror, I gotta see myself a little bit clearer" is a reminder to see beyond the flaws. We all put our flaws under the microscope a lot more than we do our strengths. I rap "I'm a hero in some storybooks, a villain in others" which is an admission to not always doing the right thing. It's only human that we play both characters. Your flaws should never define who you are. You're still a cool bitch that just needs to be a little kinder to yourself. So raise a glass to your awesomeness.
