Story Behind The Song
I have been living outside the US for work and actually living in a communist country. While I so want to get back home to the US, I am struck with the lack of freedom of speech I will have there compared to the dictatorship I live under now. From Political Correctness to laws against someone's contrived definition of "hate speech" or offensive words. A person can cuss and swear but they better not say anything those in high places have deemed off limits.
Song Description
The example words at the end of the song is not a complete list. One might add: "Don't speak about the good things America has done in the world", "don't criticize Islam", "don't frown when homosexuals kiss in front of you", etc. (Isn't it ironic that people who are brave enough to speak out are called "phobic".

Lyrics
Here come those people once again
Telling me how I've got to live
Step out of line I'll pay the price
Maybe my job maybe my life
More of these people every day
Trying to tell me what to say
I better be careful with my tongue
So many words are not allowed
When I was young we used to say -
Land of the free, home of the brave
Now we are all so filled with fright -
A single word might shatter your life
Here come those people once again
Trying to tell me what to think
I better believe the things they preach
Or I'm gonna feel their angry reach
The value and origin of life
How we must act and what is right
Its all written down in books and laws
In government schools and public halls
When I was young we used to say -
Land of the free, home of the brave
Now we must all be so afraid -
Those banished words can put us away
Don't talk of "the unborn"
Don't you ever say "God"
You be careful with "marriage"
Don't you question the law
Don't you whisper "creation"
Don't you talk about "sin"
Never say "Merry Christmas"
Or any words that offend
