Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song the day my aunt passed away. It was a cloudy and breezy day in Westville, IN. I remember sitting on the hood of my old Volkswagen after the funeral service and as the wind picked up I could hear the wind chimes of her life plucking a tune in my head. I grabbed my guitar from the backseat and began to play the first few chords of the song. The chorus came to me right away and I began singing it softly to the tune of those chimes. More pieces of the song came later as I ponder Rosella's life and death. She was so much fun to be around. A true free spirit and comedy act who made the most out of every moment. She gave her heart to the Lord just prior to her passing. This song celebrates the story of her life in Christ.
Song Description
A rhythmic static opening beat gives way to acoustic brilliance as the A-Minor walks down just before the vocals begin and the song takes off. This song cuts to the chorus quickly. Pay special attention to the instrumental parts for sampling. There are some really strong melodies and breakdowns as the song progresses.

Lyrics
She'd never even wore a crown upon her head but she lived her life so that everybody said, "There will never be another girl like..."
Rosella, Rosella, Rosella, Ro...
One day she came upon the road that led to life. She had to set aside her brokenness and pride. She fell on her knees and cried, "Save Me!"
She never ever let the woes of this life bring her down. She made her choice. Now she'll win her crown. Now living free she is free indeed.
Rosella, Rosella, Rosella, Ro...
...She is free indeed.
