Story Behind The Song
My grandmother wrote this song a few years back because she believed that as a musician I should have at least one holiday song. I put music to it and played the song for my family every year at Christmas. Last year, a media outlet was looking for local holiday music. I rewrote the music and some of the lyrics, recorded a studio version, and submitted it. It was chosen as 1 of 2 entries for a full video and article, all of which I surprised Grandma with on Christmas day.
