Story Behind The Song
As I sat on my father's hospital bed, with him lyring there almost lifeless, I sensed the peace that I still had a few more moments to be with him. The second verse was written after a woman in our church was murdered, praying for her family and friends.

Lyrics
A Moment of Grace
Sometimes life tears and opens your heart
Revealing how fragile you are
On a day like today you may suddenly face
A sorrow so deep you can't feel your pain
Weeping within, feelings begin
Pulsing the beat of your heartache
Chorus
Yet in a moment of grace before your first tear
He covers your heart to quiet your fear
In a moment of grace through unspoken prayer
His love traces your pain and heals from within
In a moment of grace
You may ask why as you silently cry
But you can't change this turn in your life
As you struggle today with tomorrow to face
His hand is in reach, your pillar of strength
Feeling within, faith to begin
Living with hope to hold on to
Chorus
Bridge
Looking back on those days
a journey of faith
You trusted His hand, now trust His heart
Healing still today
Chorus
