Story Behind The Song

I just bought Logic 8 after years of using ProTools. Changing up my writing routine helped spark my imagination in a new direction. It summed up 2008 in a wordless poem, and set the tone for a few songs that were to follow.

Song Description

This is what goes on in my brain in a very neutral state. At this point, I had healed from most of the scars from the past, and with no real love interests in the horizon, slightly longing, but mostly content with the current progression of my life. You can hear a slight tinge of loneliness, but I guess that's unavoidable when your writing, recording, and mixing the songs all by yourself.
