Story Behind The Song
I had a nastier divorce than marriage, but aside from the obvious, I fell in with some guys and we recorded this in one take with one mic in my home studio. The percussion is played with my office desk and a glass of water for drums. I think I added one midi crash and about half a second from Tom Sawyer here and there throughout the song. I dubbed in the second chorus because I dropped the paper I was finishing writing the song on while we began recording. I think I was having trouble juggling it and the harp I was playing.
