Story Behind The Song
For decades I have ingested the criticism of being "too sensitive" and finally questioned whether that is possible, let alone a kind assessment, and it was a wonderful challenge to write a song to blow that accusation out of the water in the name of shared humanity where all of us have feelings and pain.
Song Description
A gorgeous, powerful piece of genuine personal emotion -- with the foundation of a fluid, beautiful acoustic piano track, arpeggiated harp lines and ambient electric guitar soar above until the halfway point when big drums kick in to complete the expression of rage. Almost painful harmonics stir up the pot before the last moving chorus and poignant resolution.
