Story Behind The Song
I was on top of a hill in Surat, India, looking down at a herd of cows sifting through trash on a city street and thought I have a pattern of shifting my mood into beauty about every day, wherever I am, at dusk. It made me think of telling my equally weird sister, "I love you at 4:30" and writing a song about it that encourages free thought and world travel.
Song Description
This is a mid-tempo, toe-tapping and interesting pop song with acoustic guitar, piano and a busy, melodic bass line with a quirky and lyrical vocal melody and East Indian percussion. It has a dreamy energy, written to convey deep thoughts at dusk. The song is about free thought and encourages world travel. With such dynamic ranges, classic rock instrumentation and harmonies, the piece has an intellectual, Beatlesque influence.
