There's a hopeful, cheery feel to this song, almost like spring has sprung. It was the way I felt falling in love with my husband. He definitely took me by surprise, but when you know, you know! My friend, Tony T. Nguyen, wrote the music first and I was instantly drawn to the sound of the acoustic guitar on this song. When he invited me to write the lyrics and melody, I was reluctant (as I hadn't written anything in years) but found my muse and let things blossom.
