Story Behind The Song
A country pop song, meant to point out the beauty in life. It was inspired when I saw a full moon and had a song inspiration.
Song Description
A man notices a woman alone in the bar, looking miserable. He is wondering why she has chosen to go to a public place full of happy people to be sad, and surmises that she is, in some way, wanting to be cheered up. He points at all the beauty in the world, specifically, the stars and the moon.

Lyrics
WHAT ABOUT THE MOON
©2017 Ggreg Snyder
VERSE 1:
I hope this is all right, you look a bit like you need a friend
If it's not impolite, I might have some time that we can spend
Whatever brought you down, your job or some clown that you know
If you need a place to frown, this bar might be the wrong place to go
PRECHORUS:
Check out all the people having fun
Strolling down the promenade, loving everyone
CHORUS:
Look at the stars in the sky
Don't tell me that you are immune
There so much joy in the night
Baby, what about the moon?
VERSE 2:
I know it's not my business, and maybe I don't have a clue
But I can tell how you feel, because darling, I've been there, too
Instead of going out, you could be home alone anyhow
You must be in the mood, for something brought you here right now
PRECHORUS:
Check out all the people feeling high
Enjoying simple pleasures, no need to ask them why
CHORUS (REPEAT)
BRIDGE:
You can't deny you look out of place
But I'm starting to see a smile on your face
CHORUS (REPEAT)
OUTRO
What about the moon...
