Story Behind The Song
Wanted to write a light hearted, happy song with an infectious muse.

																	Song Description
There is too much negativity and sadness in the world. Forgetting one's self in serving and helping others is the best way to overcome depression.

																Lyrics

									Turn on your Life
By Gary Skankey
Prickly pessimistic people
Are moping around with muddy moods
Frigid feelings are frankly feeble
On detailed display by dreary dudes
Dwelling on demons will drown them
Happiness hides when the mind is dark
Watch what happens when sunshine pierces the blackness
Turn on your life, when you
Switch on the light in others' faces
  Erase every trace of malaise
And you will turn on your life
Shimmering smiles can shatter sadness
Try it and test this tingly tool
Cause a cascade of clear kindness
By beaming your blissful ballyhoo
Me-me disease is depressing
Narcissism will numb the soul
When your objective is outward the spirit flies upward
      Raise their bowing heads
      Steady their shaking knees
      Lift their slumping shoulders
That's what thIs wacky world needs
Woeful worrying will not
Shrink the summits that they must face
Help them to soak in the scenes and the scents as they climb up
