Lyrics
MY LITTLE LADY WHO
Fran Powers ? BMI
Verse 1:
When I was just a little girl, bouncin? on my Daddy?s knee
I remember things he used to say and songs he sang to me.
He didn?t tell me stories, the way most Daddies do.
He?d get a twinkle in his eye and Yo-de-o-lay-de-hoo.
Chorus:
He?d say, ?Little Lady, you Little Lady, MY LITTLE LADY WHO
Can bring a smile into the world and that?s what you should do.
It isn?t everybody who can yo-de-o-lay-de-hoo,
God gave you this special talent, you LITTLE LADY YOU.
Verse 2:
Someday I?ll be a Grandma, with children on my knee,
I?ll pass down that tradition, just like it came to me.
Who?d have thought that yodelin? could run in a family,
To the rhythm of my rockin? chair, We?ll yo-de-o-lay-de-hee.
Chorus:
I?ll say, ?Little Lady, you, little lady, MY LITTLE LADY WHO
Can bring a smile into the world, and that?s what you should do.
It isn?t everybody who can yo-de-o-lay-de-hoo
God gave you a special talent, YOU LITTLE LADY YOU.
Yodel here.
