Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song for my nephew at 3 years of age. I was watching over him for a few hours.
Song Description
Acoustic guitars and vocals were originally recorded in 2006. The Cello, violin, bass and electric guitar were added in June of 2015 with some newly released kickass music software (Studio One v3).

Lyrics
Mornings daydream
Has fallen into a deep sleep
Afternoons and evenings
They all just seem the same to me
Rock-a-bye baby
Rock-a-bye babe
Lay your head down
Against my chest your soul to make
Perriwinkle Sundays
They loom so large on the landscape
Rock-a-bye baby
Rock-a-bye baby
Rock-a-bye baby
Rock-a-bye babe
Rise now young one
We can still get a head start on the day
Rise now young son
You'll be a man but not today
Rock-a-bye baby
Rock-a-bye baby
Rock-a-bye baby
Rock-a-bye baby
Rock-a-bye babe
