Story Behind The Song
I was called to a family who had lost a loved one to a violent death. As I travelled to see them this song came to me, as I realized how I would want my family to feel when I pass on. I would not want my death to stop them from living their life and I would want them to know I would expect them to live their own life fully while they have it but at the same time to look forward to the time when we will be together again in eternity
Song Description

Lyrics
Do Not Mourn For Me
I am gone, do not mourn for me
From the pressures of life, I have finally been set free
Do not let this take your life too
My earth life is over, but you still have so much to do
Chorus
Do not mourn for me, do not long for me
With a smile, won?t you remember me
Have peaceful thoughts of me, my love
I?m in heaven with Father above
Don?t be miserable, I could not bear
For I?m happy here, my peace is your happiness there
Do not carry remorse or regret
Be thankful for our love and never, ever forget
Chorus
Endure this time patiently
For soon in eternity, together we will be free
I am gone but my spirit remains
I?ll watch over you until we are together again
Chorus
