Story Behind The Song
When my Opa passed away, I found it hard to handle my emotions. I wrote this song at 2am about 6 months after his death. I think anyone who has lost someone they love can relate to wanting just one more conversation.

Lyrics
Crayola markers, paper hearts, you on my right
You take a drink and we chat as you strike a light
We talk about life and you tease me about the boys
You grab the weekly paper as I play with my toys
What I wouldn't give for more
What I wouldn't give for one more day
One more time to see you smiling with your crooked lil grin
One more time to see you laughing as you told the joke again
One more day without you is one more day we're missing
What I wouldn't give for one more conversation
Country music, lawn chairs, sitting outside
Soakin' up the sun wavin' as the cars go by
Gather the family and we talk for a while
Drinks and conversation as you sit back and smile
What I wouldn't give for more
What I wouldn't give for one more drink
One more time to see you smiling with your crooked lil grin
One more time to see you laughing as you told the joke again
One more day without you is one more day we're missing
What I wouldn't give for one more conversation
Another stage, another show that you're missing
In those bright lights, I know that you're listening
What I wouldn't give for one more song
One more time to see you smiling with your crooked lil grin
One more time to see you laughing as you told the joke again
One more day without you is on more day we're missing
What I wouldn't give for one more conversation
