Story Behind The Song
I remember playing guitar in my bedroom one day and then taking a nap right after. When I awoke, I thought it was kind of funny to sleep with my guitar. I wrote this song using the guitar as a metaphor for my fiance (girlfriend at the time).

Lyrics
Chorus:
I Sleep With My Guitar
I Sleep With My Guitar
In a world that will push you down,
the one thing you can count on
is being pushed around,
but not by my guitar.
Chorus
In a time of one-night-stands,
the one that you end up with
won't be there in the end,
but not with my guitar.
Chorus
When your dreams don't have endings
and your world is upside-down.
She'll be there for you
to calm things down.
Yeah, she's always there for you;
she's all that I want around...
I sleep with my guitar.
