We are souls, having traveled the long journey
from the realm before birth to the realm after death
there, we are gathering jewels for the transmutation of matter
into a steely, glinting substance resembling the sun
under which radiance, the tired eyes are awakened to a third tone.
From time before time, we have gathered jewels on this and other worlds
this earth is beloved of us, for she is gracious, and gives without measure
we are gathered to the measure to pay heed to the warning
that limit of substance, to which we have grown accustomed is not of the world.
Gather, souls, indecisive and troubled
sit quietly, so that, like the pond which clears in time
you may glean the surface and the bottom also
