Whenever you hear of a celebrity scandal some pundit is bound to comment that the cover up is worse than the action being covered up. You also hear people talking about the immense sense of relief they get when they finally tell the truth and find that the world doesn't end, even if it stops for a while. "True Love Bends" is a song about forgiveness and unconditional love that was written with these truths in mind. I like to play it and hear it whenever I'm going through a rough spot and fear that no one could possibly love me. Luckily, true love is bigger than all that.
