Story Behind The Song
Big whine session about the music business.
Song Description
I recorded this song on my computer with me playing crappy guitar. My old friend Five took the separated vocal and replaced that crappy guitar with his own tracks. This was no small feat because I didn't use a metronome and my timing is sucky. How he fit my vocal in the way he did was genius. Genius I say.

Lyrics
It's alright, I'll be okay
I'll lick my wounds
And get back into the fray
Yeah, I've been there and you know I've done that
I feel foolish, I feel dumb
And you know who
Will pay before it's done
Cause I found out that everything was nothing
Chorus
Just for once I'd like to say I did
Just for once I'd like to take it in
Just for once I'd like to, I'd like to win
Here it is, another sign
That it's time to toss in the towel, yeah
I'll do my best not to resign
I'll get up and dust my knees
Chorus
I feel foolish, I feel dumb
And you know who
Will pay before it's done
I found out that everything was nothing
Bridge
Favors don't help anyone,
Don't need the fanfare and the fluff
They might lead me to believe
I might be enough
Again I'm not enough
Chorus
