Story Behind The Song
This is one of the songs that I can't remember specifically sitting down and writing...or a specific story behind it's creation... But I was extremely proud the SGI-USA Nashville chose to make the song the theme for their Culture Festival a few years back.
Song Description
Let It Start With Me, is a look at the bigger picture. In life we need to be aware of all our thougts words and actions...as each starts a ripple effect at it's onset.

Lyrics
Let It Start With Me
Sometimes when I look in the mirror
I try to see through the other side
Cause if I am what the world thinks about me
Then, Who am I?
And, Sometimes I lay at night and worry
Can my heart truly see
Is it doing what can make a difference
Or is it doing what's easy for me?
But I am bigger than my thoughts
But the world is bigger than me
And We're both small in this universe
Which God has to look down to see
So I wonder if I can ever make a difference, that anyone will ever see
Well, if a difference has to start somewhere
Let It Start With Me
Sometimes I catch myself judging
People on the things they do
So I make myself sit down and I think about
What they might be going through
How come every time I think I understand it
Every time I finally see
Something Happens that brings me farther back
Than I ever thought I'd be
But I am bigger than my thoughts
But the world is bigger than me
And We're both small in this universe
Which God has to look down to see
So I wonder if I can ever make a difference that anyone will ever see
Well, if a difference has to start somewhere
Let It Start With Me
Well, if a difference has to start somewhere
Let It Start With Me
