Lyrics
Saw He there ten lepers stand afar,
Fille dwith pain and suffering in their eyes,
Lifting up their voice to Jesus,
"Master, have mercy," they cried
"Go and show yourselves unto the priest,"
As they went He made the ten all pure,
Saw that he was healed, one turned and fell upojn his face,
To thank the Lord:
"Were there not ten cleansed, where are the nine?"
(Should His love and power not pierce their very souls?)
"Were there not ten cleansed, where are the nine?
Arise, and go thy way...thy faith hath made thee whole."
Many generations since have come
Lifting up their voices to Him cried
Tasting of His miracles, His mercy and His love,
Do we thank and glorify?
Everyday we see His power and love
Daily gifts and blessings He bestows
Let our hearts and voices raise and ever to Him sing
For we ought to thank our Heavenly King!
"Were there not ten cleansed, where are the nine?"
Let His love and mercy fill our very souls
"Were there not ten cleansed, where are the nine?
Arise and go thy way, thy faith hath made thee whole."
