Story Behind The Song

i had a chat room monitoring job and the workplace atmosphere was extremely infintile. tons of "he said-shes said" bullshit. all the while im hating this job- only there because i needed the money. i ended up getting fired for something stupid. it made me feel like shit. here i was- my band had just gotten a demo deal- and im stuck at this job that i hate- and i end up getting fired. so on one had i was a "visonary" because i had a band and we landed that deal- every day all i thought about was music-coming up with melodies and riffs- and on the other hand- i was a "fool" because i got fired from a stupid job for a stupid reason.
