Story Behind The Song
As a teenager with issues, I found that I sometimes got depressed, as most teenagers to. Life seems like a grand mystery. Looking at the way the world was, I wondered what the point of living was? Still I was able to find a spark of light, that keep me going, and was able to see the better side of life. This song is personal to me, but takes a universal approach.

																Lyrics

									Staring at the starry sky
Waving and passing by
You know the place that you'd rather be
You think your life is a mystery
Think your life is a mystery
So you hitched a ride back to Carter Road
To the place that you once called home
You met a ghost there you used to know
With a voice that broke so clear and slow
With a voice that spoke so clear and slow
Say, hang on the end is not near
And the rain is gone, and the way has been cleared
Imagine today is your future, where better things are happening, right here
I heard the waves of the crying sea
She was the first one she'll remember me
We faced the dark from her secret room
We had no plans to grow up that soon
We had no plans to grow up that soon
Say hang on, the end is not near
And the rain is gone, and the way has been cleared
Imagine today is your future, where better things are happening, right here
I'm sorry babe that I could not stay
For our decision kept us away
In that division we learned how to pray
When there's nothing left, there's only one thing to say now
Say, hang on the end is not near
And the rain is gone and the way has been cleared
Imagine today is your future, where better things are happening, right here
