Story Behind The Song
Traditional Christmas "just ain't right" without choirs and organs. Our arrangement is a merger of different centuries of Christmas past, JS Bach and HJ Gauntlett. This medley contains two carols, "Once in David's Royal City" - one of few carols totally British in origin - and "Wie schön leuchtet der Morgenstern," the Bach Cantata (BWV 1), made popular for Christmas from centuries past.
