Lyrics
Verse 1:
I still recall the way she?d smile and the life that lived within,
And when sang it seemed her voice just floated on the wind.
A golden touch and Heaven blessed but now the angels cry,
With broken hearts, they bow their heads and ask the question why.
CHORUS:
She ain?t the girl she use to be,
She ain?t the girl she could of been you see.
One dark night she crossed the line, she won?t be coming back this time
Oh oh, she ain?t the girl she used to be.
VERSE 2:
I can?t deny aand I won?t lie, sometime it troubles me,
To think of how she turned away but I must let it be.
And hope someday that she will see and find her wings again,
And ffly away upon a song, God knows that she can.
CHORUS:
She ain?t the girl she use to be,
She ain?t the girl she could of been you see.
One dark night she crossed the line, she won?t be coming back this time
Oh oh, she ain?t the girl she used to be.
