Story Behind The Song
This is a tribute song to Gram Parsons, and his
meteoric life. The "High Lonesome"sound is often associated with Gram's style of vocals & music.
Changing that to "Hi Lonesome" allowed me to thank this influence on my & so many other's music.

Lyrics
Hi Lonesome- Did you really do the things they say? Man you blew 'em all away.
Fly lonesome- You old Burrito Brother roll along-Thank you for the songs
You burnt out far too soon--Like many a falling star
Who found an old guitar & the blues
Bye Lonesome- Although you're gone I think it's safe to say---That a part of you remains
And echoes on the wind-That old Hickory Wind
You burnt out far too soon--Like many a falling star
Who found an old guitar & the blues
