Lyrics

Darkness and fire in your eyes in your style
Your empire turns to black
Black is your word your curse your desire
Secretly worse the cold in your heart

Devil in you
The devil in me
The searing truth
It seams to be
The devil in you
The devil in me burns on
All night baby

Cold whisper froze like stone like bone
One glance one gasp one chance
Through mist and smoke your eyes unforgiving
Secretly worse the cold in your heart

Devil in you
The devil in me
The searing truth
It seems to be
The devil in you
The devil in me burns on
All night baby

Devil in you
The devil in me
The searing truth
It seems to be
The devil in you
The devil in me burns on
And on and on and on and on and

Oh so slow
You take the best of me
You rob my destiny
You, you come and go
You make a mess of me you do
I'm staring at the embers while the flames are fading

Devil in you
The devil in me
The searing truth
It seems to be
The devil in you
The devil in me burns on
All night baby
Devil in you
The devil in me
The searing truth
It seems to be
The devil in you
The devil in me burns on
All night baby

This is probably my favorite song I've heard on Broadjam out of eight or so - really, really liked this one. I think the vocal performance and the instrumentation were both terrific, and I think you did a great job in terms of dynamics and progression for the song. I could hear this being used in film and TV pretty much exactly as is.

Hi,i like the vocalist voice, sounds somewhere between Scott Walker and Marc Almond ( Soft Cell) but unique in its own way, which is important if you want to be noticed.. The band somewhere between R.EM. and All About Eve (80s British band ) with everybody doing a good team job and not trying to steal the limelight.
You also remind me weirdly of a track of the Gun Clubs second album Miami, though cannot remember which one.

Cool tune. There is a definite Morrisey or The Smiths influence throughout this song. But it was done very well. The vocalist has an emotional delivery which was nice. The instrument complimented perfectly and the recording was ok. The mix could use a little work but nothing too crazy. I like this song and band. I hope I get to review more of your music. Good work

Very good piece that has a very good flow and a nice arrangement and top notch instrumentation.
