Song Description

The piece starts with a soft string pad with string accents adding a slightly disharmonic major seventh below the root. A low synth pad comes in to add an ominous feel. It transitions next to a straight orchestral part with strings and french horns providing an ethereal pad. Heavy percussion (including an anvil with a synced delay) come in next, along with a supporting arpeggiated string pattern to give the piece lots of energy and forward motion. It them abruptly transitions to a rock guitar playing a chugging power chord rhythm. A hooky synth lead comes in, as well as a slowly oscillating synth pad, drums, and the anvil again, in a modified rhythm. It ends with an orchestral flourish.
