Story Behind The Song
This is a christmas song that came into my head quickly as i was driving home, seeing the many christmas decorations and lights in peoples houses. I do enjoy the older 50's 60's christmas songs, with that jazz element to them. Like the classic crooners used to sing.
I sent the song to a friend of mine, Terry Wigmore, who also loves jazz and sings in this style. Together we came up with this song.
I hope you like it. And Merry Christmas !

CHRISTMAS TIME AGAIN
(by Darren Gibbons 2019)Frank sinatra, Dean martin
1. Well it's Christmas time again,
the kids have written all their Christmas lists
Carolers singing at the door,
You pull a cracker and you try to grab a kiss
under the mistletoe,
you look out the window and its starting to snow
And Oh! What a happy - a happy feeling when its Christmas time
Well it's time when children expect to see
That Jolly Old Elf comin' down that, that chimney tonight!
2. Well it's Christmas time again,
The kids have got their gifts
They're busy with candy canes
So you pull a cracker and you try to grab a kiss
under the mistletoe
You build a snowman in the snow,
And Oh! what a happy, a happy feeling when its Christmas time
INSTRUMENTAL BREAK
Well it's time when children expect to see
That Jolly Old Elf comin' down that, that chimney tonight!
3. Well it's Christmas time again,
The kids have gone to bed
There's nothing under the tree
So you grab a kiss from under that mistletoe,
You look out the window and its starting to snow
And Oh! What a happy, oh what a happy feeling tonight
And Oh! What a happy, hmmm so very happy
Oh! What a hap-py-- Christmas tonight!
