Story Behind The Song
"Give Me A Reason" was one of the hardest songs I've ever had to write, just before my marriage to my long time girlfriend ended. Looking back, it seems painfully obvious that I was looking for an easy way to get out, but I really didn't know how. I was almost daring myself to go running for the hills, but also knew that I wouldn't be able to do it. Of course eventually I did decide to take my life into my own hands and leave, but it's left a scar that I don't think will ever truly heal, no matter where my life takes me.

																	Song Description

																Lyrics

Well i've had my fill of lonely days
I've seen them all come and go
But lately it seems I can't get away
From thinking they're all that I know
So give me a reason, a reason to stay
And I'll give you a reason to run
Give me a reason, a reason to stay
And I'll give you a reason to run, away
I'm a prisoner inside my mind,
And it seems that I can't escape
From behind these walls of fences and wire,
Trapped inside of these gates
Give me a reason, a reason to stay
And I'll give you a reason to run,
Give me a reason, a reason to stay
And I'll give you a reason to run,
run away
