Story Behind The Song
Permanent Storm is one of those songs where I thought of the title first and wrote the rest of the around it. The idea of a storm being permanent really inspired me because it powerfully symbolizes unending passion. I wrote this song after my own true experience; the second verse especially describes that experience.
Song Description
A song of passionate wonder for a love story that had a happy ending even after the probability of it was once given up on.

Lyrics
Verse 1
I'm sorry baby it's just the way you look at me
I can't think straight
when you take control of my senses
I feel a passion burning inside of you
and I cant wait
no I'm letting down all my fences
When a tree falls
and no-one's there to hear it
maybe it doesn't make a sound, but
when the storm of you baby, rages on
It's all around me
Chorus
You're the thunder and lightning
that keeps me alive
You're the rush of adrenaline
that gives me the drive
to take to the sky without wings
baby you're my everything and everything
and I now know
the force for which I was born
Baby you're my permanent storm
verse 2
I can't believe the way that my life has changed
since you walked in
it's like a one-eighty degree turn around
I looked for someone perfect in every way
but I gave up
and that's when I let the bar down
Then you found me there
searching for someone less than a miracle, baby
no wonder I still have to shake myself
I still can't believe it's real
Chorus (repeat)
Bridge
The lightning that struck me when you first laid eyes on me
it blew me away, and
the thunder rolls on to this day...
