Story Behind The Song

I have been attending regular co-writing intensives at the Holiday Music Motel in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin over the past 4 years where, under the creative direction of pat mAcdonald (formerly of the band Timbuk3- he wrote The Future's So Bright I Gotta Wear Shades), songwriter gather for a week at a time and spin the bottle to be paired up with co-writing partners. This song emerged from the "Dark Songs" songwriting intensive that takes place around Halloween each year. In the studio we also brought in drummer Victor DeLorenzo who was a founding member of the Violent Femmes. It is worth noting that I do have signed agreements with the co-writers, all musicians and co-producer to administer the publishing and act as the representative for this song to pitch it for film/TV placements and I own the master recording.
