Story Behind The Song
Bruce Kaphan and I were playing toghether in a country band in the early 80's. He suggested we work Pick Up The Pieces by the Average White Band. We did not get it done before the gig terminated. 30 years later I'm recording some tunes in his studio. PUTP was one of them so I asked him to play on it and he did.
We play some harmony on it and each solo some. Great fun.
