Story Behind The Song
Written for Sue Nanos
Song Description
The song writer Harry Jon Nanos, had a dream that he and his wife went to a Clairyvoyant (is that how you spell it) and the old woman told them that they need to put romance back into their lives and that she saw, Champaign, Roses and Channel in her vision. Harry lsitened to his dream and he and his wife are still going strong many, many years later. That's what this song is on about. Enjoy it

Lyrics
You know lately I've been stressing out about something
and something found me just the other day
I read the sign on the door it said open your hearts
my troubles to this woman, and she held my hand.
She said son I can see
that your woman needs you more than ever
If you take my advice she will open her eyes
and it will all come back to you
Se said
I'll help you
And so I took
Throw roses on her bed
Chanel upon her pillowcase
Champagne inside her head
Soft candles so romantic
She wants to feel that magic again
She said sometimes people move in strange directions
and sometimes all our energies are astray
and sometimes men and women just don't get it
and sometimes all you got to do is give a little love
Bridge
Chorus
And then later tat night
As we sat by the fire she told me
about a woman so wise
who had opened her eyes
and told her what to do
She said
Chorus
Throw roses on your bed
