Story Behind The Song

This originally started as a ballad but after adding a few layers it came to life as a pop-rock number. The subject is a guy who bumps into a former beauty queen lover that cheated and made a fool of him. He recalls the situation and the days, months and years that passed since and tells her that although she's now lost her looks, if it wasn't for her betrayal he would have loved her till eternity.
